Hey guys! Today I decided that I’m going to talk a little about skateboarding. Since I have finally gotten my longboard, I suppose this is a good time to start talking a bit about skateboarding in general.
So a couple things you need for skateboarding include the following
– some pads( like elbow and knee pads. These are optional, but recommended.)
That’s it! Now I’m going to talk a bit about choosing your skateboard.
So choose your skateboard on what you want to do. If you want to do some epic tricks at the skate park, choose the trick skateboard or the regular skateboard. If you have a huge hill and you want to board it without losing control, a longboard is your choice to buy. Now nickel boards, penny boards, and cruisers are a whole new concept. These boards are made out of a hard strong plastic, whilst other boards use wood. Still, if you got money to throw these boards aren’t a bad idea. Also look below if you want a video on how to choose your skateboard.
So now with gear, Obviously, A helmet is essential. Now, the thing is, you don’t “need” gear, but I, and many others strongly recommended it. I might sound like your mom, but you might really consider wearing gear after you fall and have the blood covering your arm.
Ok, now there is always tricks and stuff to do on your board. So go HERE for some skateboard tricks. Go HERE for some longboard stuff. Finally go HERE for some tricks for your composite boards.
That’s it guys! Hope you guys have fun in this nice weather outside!(well, it’s nice weather here in my city at least.) Stick around for more posts!
Hi Kidz, that’s kids with a z, it’s me EH! I came to talk about the upcoming winter vacation! 🙂 Probably because at my school, we just had a ski and snowboarding club meeting. Which means snow, which means winter, which means Christmas is coming! Also, for those who celebrate Christmas, CHRISTMAS!! For those who don’t, have a good vacation and a happy Hanukkah!
Don’t you get bored after one week of playing with toys? I know I do. So, SOLUTION! You can go skiing or snowboarding. But which one? You decide since I do both.
Skiing is on two separate pieces. (Duh!) Snowboarding’s on one, it’s easier than you think, unless you think it’s super easy. Trust me it’s not. I heard someone broke their wrist but, without proper teaching. So try it! You see, snowboarding requires balance, more than skiing. Now decide! In the poll you can choose some other choices for your favourite activities during winter.
Then there are different ski hills. My personal favourite is Mont. Tremblant. For those who don’t know Mont. Tremblant, it’s in Quebec. Look it up! They’ve got some green, some blue and a ton of black levelled ski hills. I would definitely suggest you guys to go. For those who like other seasons better, you can still go there during those seasons. They’ve got go-carts and more activities. It’s one of the best places to visit. They’re also a village, or residence area. You guys can stay there overnight, it’s a ton of fun. There’s restaurants, pools (depending where in the village) and some more. If you do decide to go overnight, there’s a tobogganing/snow tubing area, it’s so fun! You get to go and attach your snow tubes to other’s. After all, this is their seventy-sixth year. I think it’s more fun skiing/snowboarding there if you’re advanced but, it’s your choice if you go, even if you’re a non-skier/non-snowboarder. The reason is because the mountain is really long about, (I don’t know), about 2900 feet! It’s so big that they put a ski lift in the middle of the mountain. (It’s not the biggest, just so you know.) Not really your amateur hill. Instead go to Vorlage. It’s much nicer. It’s not the biggest but, one of the best. (In Quebec.)
Now, I know that you think that I only go to Mont. Tremblant. But, I’m also going to try out different ski hills, like the Jay Peak Mountain.
Just to add on, aren’t you guys extremely EXCITED for CHRISTMAS? I know I am. St.Nick drops on the night of the twenty fourth. It’s about two weeks after I publish this. During Christmas, I’m going to be opening presents, being with my jolly family, and most importantly, skiing and snowboarding in tons of snow, if weather permits. PLEASE MOTHER NATURE, PLEASE MAKE IT SNOW! What are you guys gonna do?
That concludes Eric’s second blog post. YES! There’s a blog that’s from our class this time, and so far they put up book; movies; music; restaurant; reviews, and it’s for people who also want a less amateurish blog. Also on the bright side, it’s about similar to ours. The website is called “urbanmedia6blog.wordpress.com”. I know that I didn’t put up any reviews yet so, please stick around and, I’ll put up some soon. (Probably about animation movies.) THANKS AGAIN AND PLEASE COMMENT DOWN BELOW AND STAY TUNED! 🙂
The place for some entertainment when you get bored of life!
